The Wings Over Springbank Scholarship provides $2,500 in financial support to help women and underrepresented learners pursue aviation education and training.
The Wings Over Springbank Scholarship supports women and underrepresented individuals pursuing careers in aviation support, technical and operational roles.
Established in partnership with Wings Over Springbank Airshow, the scholarship honours the legacy of the hundreds of volunteers whose dedication helped make the airshow a success while investing in the next generation of aviation professionals.
The scholarship is designed to help remove financial barriers for individuals taking a practical step toward an aviation career through education, training or career-focused opportunities.

*This may include Indigenous, Black and racialized communities, newcomers, LGBTQ2S+ individuals, persons with disabilities, people from low-income backgrounds, rural or remote communities, and first-generation post-secondary students.
Applications are welcome from across Canada. Priority will be given in the following order:
1. Southern Alberta
2. Alberta
3. Canada-wide
This is a priority ladder and does not automatically exclude applicants from outside Southern Alberta.
The $2,500 scholarship can help cover career-critical costs, with funding prioritized in the following order:
1. School Tuition
Post-secondary tuition for aviation programs at recognized institutions such as SAIT, MRU and others.
2. Aviation Training & Course Costs
Recognized aviation training programs, individual courses, licensing preparation, exams, certifications and related costs.
3. Workshops & Career-Focused Opportunities
Workshops, camps, conferences or intensives that directly support entry into an aviation career pathway.
