Core Themes

Each module focuses on one of the following leadership elements, designed to progressively build skills and insights to strengthen leadership abilities:

Module 1
Leading from Within

Focus: Self-awareness, Confidence, and Leadership Identity
In this module, participants will explore their leadership style and cultivate a strong foundation of self-awareness and adaptability. They will evaluate their strengths, navigate imposter syndrome, and embrace mindset shifts that foster continuous growth. By the end of this module, participants will have begun to shape their unique leadership identity, preparing them for a leadership journey grounded in authenticity and resilience.

Module 2
Leading with Emotional Intelligence

Focus: Conscious Leadership and Communication
Emotional intelligence is a cornerstone of effective leadership. In this module, participants will develop the interpersonal skills necessary to lead with intention. They will focus on improving their ability to communicate with impact, navigate conflict, and lead with empathy and authenticity. By the end of this module, participants will feel confident in using emotional intelligence to foster positive relationships and lead consciously, both in day-to-day situations and high-visibility leadership moments.

Module 3
Foundations of Aviation Leadership

Focus: Aviation Ecosystem, Career Navigation, and Networking

This module provides an in-depth understanding of the aviation industry, highlighting the dynamics of teamwork, systems management, and the unique challenges faced by women in the field. Participants will develop career navigation strategies, focusing on how to leverage industry-specific skills and build a strong professional network. By the end of this module, participants will be able to confidently navigate their aviation careers and identify opportunities for growth and leadership.

Module 4
Visioning Forward – Crafting Your Leadership Journey

Focus: Leadership Vision, Mentorship, and Growth Strategy

In the final module, participants will clarify their career direction and create a personalized roadmap for leadership growth. They will explore different leadership progression models—ladder vs. lattice—and reflect on how mentorship can guide their journey. Participants will also learn to identify and take advantage of both formal and informal leadership opportunities. By the end of this module, participants will have a clear leadership vision and development plan to guide them through the next phase of their career.

Aviation Leadership in Action

Throughout the Emerging Leaders Program, participants don’t just learn about leadership, they live it. By engaging in a series of real-world activities, self-reflections, and applied leadership practices, each participant actively integrates what they’re learning into their current role and workplace. From conducting leadership interviews to developing a personal vision and 6-month leadership roadmap, this applied learning model ensures participants gain tangible experience and demonstrate their leadership growth in action.
