You were promoted because you were good at the work. Now you’re expected to succeed by leading others to do it.
The habits that helped you succeed as an individual contributor can become limiting when your role changes.
You may still be the person people come to for answers. You may find it faster to solve the problem yourself than coach someone else through it. Delegation can feel uncomfortable when you know you could do the work more quickly. Accountability conversations become harder when you are responsible not only for your own performance, but for the performance and development of others.
As leadership responsibility grows, success increasingly depends not only on what you accomplish yourself, but on what you enable others to accomplish.
ALP is designed for women in aviation who are current leaders, responsible for leading people, developing teams, and delivering organizational results. It may be a strong fit if you:
The program combines facilitated cohort sessions, an EQ-i 2.0 emotional intelligence assessment, individual debrief, one-on-one coaching, peer learning, and practical workplace application.
You’ll examine how you currently lead, challenge assumptions that may no longer serve you, practise new approaches, and apply what you’re learning to situations you’re navigating right now.
Four modules, each building on the last
Through the EQ-i 2.0 assessment and guided reflection, you'll deepen your awareness of how you show up as a leader and explore the relationship between intention and impact.
How do my patterns affect the people I lead?
Explore coaching, delegation, trust, and accountability as you learn to step back from being the person with the answers and create space for others to take ownership.
How do I build the capability and ownership of the people I lead?
Explore trust, alignment, and shared accountability as you consider what your team needs to work effectively and how your leadership can shape those conditions.
How do I help shape the conditions for my team to succeed?
Strengthen your ability to build relationships, influence across teams, and manage up when outcomes extend beyond your direct authority.
How do I influence progress when the outcome depends on more than my authority?
